“Holly has a magnetic energy and Juni was straight away drawn to her, even wanting to be in her arms. These photos were a gift to myself, as many mamas would understand the magic we feel in the quiet moments shared with our bubbas that slowly slip away as they grow older. I didn’t have to say a lot, I mentioned capturing the ‘Magic in the Mundane’ and Holly just knew, I’d call it mother’s intuition. We organically moved around my home, I changed into dungarees and we used the opportunity to capture some shared moments in the bedroom. It felt real and honest, no fake smiles or staring into the camera. Each year I am more attuned to what matters most and capturing genuine moments in time are top on that list.'
